New Replacement Hospital Project

The New East Tower addition will be opening in 2013 and will provide new critical care and treatment spaces including 14 operating rooms (robotic and CV specialties) Prep/PACU, Endoscopy, Short Stay Unit, acute care beds and intensive care unit. Key support spaces include Central Sterile, Full Clinical Pathology, and Central Pharmacy w/ automated carousels.

Backfill / Modernization scope following the east tower opening will include a new Breast Center, Emergency Center Expansion, Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, and Inpatient unit for Orthopedics and Med/Surg patients.

Mitchell has led the client through validation of existing equipment for reuse and through the procurement process for imaging, physiological monitoring, surgical lights and booms, central sterile, beds, and other significant purchases that will support the new expansion and renovation.
