Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada

The new maternal and children’s hospital was identified to bring the best specialists in one location. The project design is underway and completion is planned for 2016. The new facility will provide full services for emergency, surgery, labor and delivery, and inpatient units for acute care, NICU, and PICU. The hospital will provide provincial programs such as the referral center for advanced fetal diagnostics and intervention, pediatric outpatient specialties such as cardiology, rheumatology and audiology.

The new facility will allow critically ill pediatric patients to be able to receive comprehensive care in the Province for the first time and will avoid having to be transferred to another Province to receive this care.
