The New Replacement Hospital opened in 2013 bringing bring state of the art technology to the patients it serves. The 443 bed facility will provided additional clinical space to meet the increasing demands of clinical services in their regional catchment area. Project broke ground in March 2010.
The hospital was designed to integrate sophisticated technologies that support new innovations in patient care such as surgical robotics, RFID tracking systems and integrating with Epic, the hospitals electronic medical record.
Mitchell is underway with equipment procurement and installation services including preparations for final placement. The team assisted the hospital in making major commitments for imaging, physiological monitoring, surgical lights and booms, central sterile, beds, and other significant purchases and coordinated the timing of these selections to enable the new hospital to open with advanced equipment to support the new environment of care.
