The new St. Anthony’s Central Hospital opened June 2011 and includes a large, modern 560,000 square foot hospital, on-campus medical office buildings, an ambulatory and hospital procedure center and a distinct outpatient pavilion. At time of groundbreaking this was one of the largest medical campus construction projects in the nation.
The hospital will consist of 386 private acute care beds, 76 critical care beds, 128 acute care, 18 rehabilitation, and a new Level 1 Trauma Center with 36 exam rooms and four trauma rooms. The 14 suite surgical suite integrates imaging and integrated technologies that provide the highest level of shock-trauma, neurosurgical, orthopedic, cardiology, oncology and general surgery.
Mitchell conducted a comprehensive inventory and assessed the condition of equipment for reuse to develop the budget and list for the new replacement hospital. Mitchell’s Denver based staff managed the planning, procurement and installation management.
