Children’s Hospital of Illinois

The Milestone project opened in August of 2010 and created a unique opportunity to provide state of the art healthcare services for the pediatric and adult populations and improve patient safety, wayfinding and increase technology with the new construction. The project included a total of 215 beds, including a 60 bed NICU, 32 bed PICU/ICU, 14 bed Pedi Intermediate Care unit, 32 Pedi Med/Surg unit, 32 adult cardiology beds, 59 emergency treatment beds and a 14 bed Chemo-infusion unit.

Children’s Hospital of Richmond

Virginia Commonwealth University

The Children’s Hospital of Richmond has embarked, in collaboration with VCU Medical Center, to build 250,000 square foot facility across the road from VCU’s main hospital. The CHOR project consists of 75 clinics, 6 operating rooms, full complement of imaging services, and cardio pulmonary specialties and support services. VCU’s main hospital will provide the inpatient care for this pediatric population. Mitchell also did the planning and procurement for the VCU hospital in 2009.

Saskatoon Health Region Saskatoon Royal University

Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan

The new maternal and children’s hospital was identified to bring the best specialists in one location. The project design is underway and completion is planned for 2016. The new facility will provide full services for emergency, surgery, labor and delivery, and inpatient units for acute care, NICU, and PICU. The hospital will provide provincial programs such as the referral center for advanced fetal diagnostics and intervention, pediatric outpatient specialties such as cardiology, rheumatology and audiology.

Miami Children’s Hospital

Swedish Medical Center

Issaquah Community Hospital

The new Issaquah campus of Swedish Medical Center opened its doors in 2011 bringing affordable, quality healthcare and healing environments to meet the growing demands of the Issaquah community outside of Seattle, WA. The $365 million campus opened in two phases. In July of 2011, Phase I included the opening of the Imaging Center, the Emergency Department, the Cancer Center, and a range of primary care and specialty clinics.

Parkview Medical Center

The $536 million medical center construction project opened in March 2012. The nine story facility will provide a total of 446 beds with increased diagnostic and treatment capability to serve areas of excellence in cardiac care, neurology, women’s health, pediatrics, oncology and orthopedics. The tower includes state of the art facilities for emergency care including life flight, advanced imaging, surgery, acute care and critical care serving both adult and pediatric patients.
