Shore Health is replacing the Easton, MD campus with a new 400,000 square foot modern hospital. The 145 bed facility will include med/surg, telemetry, critical care, surgery, imaging, neuro/joint center and other supporting services. This facility will be equipped with state of art equipment, one that meets and supports the academic medical center needs of the University of Maryland Health System.
The Pavilion is a 250,000 sq. ft., 3-story addition to Riverside Regional Medical Center will greatly expand the hospitals capacity. The first floor is 113,000 sq. ft. and is dedicated to patient welcoming functions, including outpatient pharmacy, pre-op and recovery areas for 11 new operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites. The 64,300 sq foot second floor provides a total of 72 beds comprised of four 16-bed units dedicated to medical and general acute care, ICU, Step/Down/neurosurgery and orthopedic surgical patients.
The New Sibley hospital will consist of a new and expanded Emergency department, Pharmacy, Training and Education, Orthopedic floor, C-Section, LDR, Prep/Recovery, Specialty Care Nursery, Post Partum, 3 floors of Med Surg, Med Onc, 2 Operating Rooms, Pre/Post Op, Recovery, Research/Tumor Registry and Hydrotherapy.

The New Einstein Medical Center Montgomery opened in September 2012. The project includes 96 medical/surgical beds, 22 ICU beds, 20 obstetrical beds, 6 LDR beds and 16 bed well baby beds, and an 8 bed NICU. The hospital also includes emergency, surgery, imaging, orthopedics & cardiovascular care. The hospital also includes a shared interventional suite with 2 interventional suites, EP and Cath with a shared recovery space with the OR.
Mitchell provided planning and procurement services for the hospital and is currently assisting the hospital with a Radiation Oncology Suite.
The new Exempla Saint Joseph Heritage project 7 story 750,000 sq ft. expansion will provide new spaces for advanced imaging and interventional suites as well as updated environments for inpatient areas. The Project includes 348 private rooms, a emergency, lab, Surgery and Interventional Neuro/Cardio Services, 2 hybrid OR’s, 3 cath labs, 2 IR’s, 2 EP Labs, and related prep/recovery areas, Simulation Labs, Women’s L&D, Postpartum, NICU, Adult ICU, and Acute Care beds for Orthopedic and Oncology Services.
The University of Miami Health System is expanding its clinical services south of its main campus which is located in the Civic Center of Miami. The new Center will provide an array of outpatient clinical services with a focus on oncology, orthopedics, cardio vascular care, and ophthalmology. The 220,000 square foot facility will have approximately 116 clinics, multi-modality diagnostic imaging, RAD/ONC, 6 surgical suites, interventional radiology, physical and rehabilitation medicine, and support services.
To meet the needs of a growing community, the MCH Emergency Department is expanding and adding world-class amenities to optimize its world-class emergency care. The M.B. Fernandez Trauma Center at Miami Children’s Hospital Emergency Department – the only freestanding Level I pediatric trauma center in Florida is also being expanded. Tradition Medical Center, a new 80 bed hospital, opened it's doors in December 2013. As the third hospital location for Martin Health System, the full service community hospital includes emergency, surgery, diagnostic imaging, 60 med/surg beds, 10 critical care, 14 LDRP and 6 NICU beds. Mitchell was part of an integrated project delivery team working closely to manage the medical equipment from planning through installation.
The $536 million medical center construction project opened in March 2012. The nine story facility will provide a total of 446 beds with increased diagnostic and treatment capability to serve areas of excellence in cardiac care, neurology, women’s health, pediatrics, oncology and orthopedics. The tower includes state of the art facilities for emergency care including life flight, advanced imaging, surgery, acute care and critical care serving both adult and pediatric patients.
