Children's Hospital of Richmond Pavilion

In collaboration with the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Medical Center, the Children's Hospital of Richmond (CHoR) embarked on building a 250,000 square foot facility across from VCU's main hospital.  The CHOR project consistred of 75 clinics, six operating rooms, pre-op and recovery areas, a full complement of imaging services, cardiopulmonary specialties and support services.

VCU's main hospital will provide any inpatient care needed for this pediatric population.  Mitchell's services included full planning and BIM services.

University of Colorado

AIP Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion

The 410,000 square foot Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion (AIP) is an addition to an existing medical center housing an emergency center, critical care, surgery, Med/Surg, dialysis, cardiopulmonary, Interventional and Non-Interventional cardiology, rehabilitation, as well as various clinical and operational support services.

In addition to the new construction, the project will provide 249,500 sq. ft. of shelled space for future beds and 53,850 square feeet of renovated space. It also includes the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute.

Silver Cross Hospital

The new replacement 289 bed facility will improve the healing of patients by creative design and innovative technologies. The new hospital is equipped with state of the art imaging and surgical modalities. The private rooms are spacious and invite the family as part of the caretakers. Total of 185 med/surg, 8 pediatric, 30 OB, 22 ICU, 20 behavioral health, 24 rehabilitation beds.

The project includes Pavilions dedicated to Outpatient Services such as imaging, lab, cardiopulmonary testing, sleep disorders, diabetes, infusion and rehabilitation services and specialty clinics.

Martin Health System

Tradition Medical Center

Tradition Medical Center, a new 80 bed hospital, opened it's doors in December 2013. As the third hospital location for Martin Health System, the full service community hospital includes emergency, surgery, diagnostic imaging, 60 med/surg beds, 10 critical care, 14 LDRP and 6 NICU beds. Mitchell was part of an integrated project delivery team working closely to manage the medical equipment from planning through installation.
